This area of construction can no longer be ignored and has become the main priority on all construction sites in the last decade. CSY understand the requirement is essential. All scaffolders are equipped with full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and are trained to the highest level. Each with a CISRS Scaffolder, Trainee Scaffolder or Labourer card, and subject to frequent updates on their TG20:13 knowledge. All CSY employees are trained to and abide by the highest possible health and safety standards.
First Aid
The company also has two first aiders that work with scaffolders on any potentially hazardous jobs.
SAFETY NETTING AND MEWPs:
CSY are specialists in safe access at height. Along with the usual scaffolding options, we also supply and install safety netting, to provide fall arrest where it would otherwise be impossible to to provide fall prevention systems such as independent scaffolding or handrail (for example, while installing concrete floors to new build steel frame cladded buildings). We also can supply MEWPs (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms) such as cherry pickers and scissor lifts, when small tasks need to be undertaken in remote locations that may otherwise be inaccessible by scaffold. We have a competent team of very experienced IPAF qualified MEWP operators, should you require this.
CONFINED SPACE TRAINING:
Our operatives are trained and qualified to work in confined spaces. These can be highly dangerous environments to work in, and often require a lifting plan (to winch a vulnerable operative to safety in the event of an accident or illness), along with the usual Method Statement and Risk Assessment. All the staff at CSY are highly qualified and experienced for these tasks.
